Xiaomi has patented a new foldable smartphone. The phone will come as part of the Mi Mix series, the folds will open outwards. It will look a lot like the Huawei Mate XS.
Citing Gizmo China, Business Insider reports that the patent was spotted on the QCC app. This could have been done for the Mi Max 4 Pro or the Mi Mix folder.
According to the report, the foldable device will have dual display or two screens. Inside the phone will be a flagship quality Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 processor. It will also have a 6-inch folding screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate.
In addition, the primary camera sensor on the back will be a 106 megapixel shooter. There will be a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 8 watts of fast charging.
Earlier, Xiaomi patented a foldable smartphone with a quad camera setup. The patent document states that the camera can be rotated to take selfies on the system.
