Compared to 2019, the amount of cyber criminal allegations has increased in 2020, just as the amount of damage has also increased. Last year's loss was about 600 million more than the previous year.
According to the organization, seven lakh 91 thousand 690 complaints have been filed in 2020. In 2019, the number of these complaints was four lakh 6 thousand 261.
According to the report, last year IC3 alone received 26,000 complaints about Kovid-19. Hackers have carried out cyber attacks on numerous hospitals and medical facilities. The perpetrators used emails, phone calls and social media as government officials to collect information from the victims and extort money from them.
