Vivo, Apo, Xiaomi and Google are preparing to launch foldable devices, according to a recent report by The Elek Retreats. However, in a new report, Vivo's name has been dropped, but the other three companies have confirmed the arrival of foldable devices.
And Samsung is making folding displays for the devices of these three companies. The report highlights the specifications and sizes of the displays.
The Oppo display will open from top to bottom, meaning the device will have a clamshell form factor. The outer screen will be one and a half to two inches. As a result, it shows how long and wide the display will be when unfolded. Apo has worked with Samsung, BOE and VisionWox with their folding 6.6-inch prototype, but will only work with Samsung for this device.
Xiaomi's folding device will have an external display of 6.36 inches. And although not much is known about Google's device, it is known that Samsung is making an LED screen for Google. The size of this display can be 6.8 inches.
